Quand le contrebassiste André Klénès et le guitariste Adrien Brogna se rencontrent, cela donne ‘Luz da Lua’, un cocktail détonnant qui réunit deux musiciens d’exception. Ce duo de cordes vous emmène en voyage autour des compositions d’André Klénès, tantôt jazz, tantôt blues, tantôt inspirées des musiques classique et du monde. A cela se marie l’univers de Tom Jobim et de Keith Jarrett, en passant par Egberto Gismonti, le tout nourri d’improvisation.

Biographie André Klénès
André Klenes was born in Vielsalm (Belgium) in 1954. He obtained the first prize for double bass and chamber music at the Royal Conservatory at Liège, Belgium. He has worked extensively as a classical musician, playing concerts and making recordings with the Radio Symphonic Orchestra, the National Brussel's Orchestra, the Philharmonic Orchestra from Liège and the Opéra Royal de Wallonie. As a Jazz musician, he has taken part in a number of seminars and has appeared with Jacques Pelzer, Jean- Pierre Catoul and others. He has, from 1986 till 2005, been bass soloist with the ensemble of the French singer- songwriter William Sheller. In 2000, André Klenes founded "Adam’s Dream ». He produced and recorded 5 albums with this project. He recorded an album with Jacques Stotzem, another with JassTango Quartet in DE. He becomes a part of the project « Music 4 a While » with Johan Dupont, Muriel Bruno, Jean-François Foliez, Joachim Ianello. 2012 : Laureate of the RVH Bass Trophy. 2013 : Harmony-Jazz-Suite. Album Music 4 a While (Igloo+ IGL244).
Biographie Adrien Brogna
Born in 1985, Adrien Brogna is one of the most talented Belgian guitarists of his generation.
Ancient pupil of Odair Assad, Adrien Brogna is noted for the sensitivity of his playing and his rhythmic fire.
He was only 22 years old when he was chosen to accompany the American soprano Dawn Upshaw in France, the United States, England, Scotland, Greece and Holland. Adrien Brogna recorded two albums with 'Alki Guitar Trio' for GHA Records and one album with Raphaella Smits for Soundest Records. He played with the National Orchestra of Spain, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Opera Royal de Wallonie. He collaborated with musicians such as percussionist Jamey Haddad, clarinetist David Krakauer, members of the Eighth Blackbird ensemble (USA) and the Brodsky Quartet (United Kingdom).
Brogna divides his time between a career of soloist, chamber musician and teacher at the Conservatory of Liège.
