The RIZZOTTO / GIMÉNEZ duo started its activities in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina in 2006. Once settled in Barcelona, they worked on the recording of their CD “EL PASO DEL TIEMPO”(“The Passage of Time”) which includes compositions of both musicians
and some arrangements of the traditional music of Argentina.
This repertoire is the main theme of their current concerts, arrangements with a very personal approach. The show manages to unite all the sensitivity and spirituality of two artists with a deep relationship to their cultural heritage and tradition. A concert about the authentic sound and landscapes, plus a door open to spontaneous improvisations, always preserving the oral knowledge received, and with a maximum connection to the soul. Guillermo Rizzotto and Pablo Gimenez are a part of the new trend in the
traditional music from Argentina.
