Pianist Kevin Ayesh will perform a variety of well-known and well-loved masterpieces, including Beethoven's Pathetique Sonata and Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, in addition to works by Chopin, Brahms, Debussy, and Rachmaninoff. Kevin has presented concerts and master classes throughout the United States (in all 50 states and Puerto Rico), as well as in Canada, Germany, and Hong Kong. As a North Carolina Visiting Artist for four years, he appeared before thousands across that state, performing as many as 50 recitals in a season. Kevin has won prizes in several prestigious competitions, and is in frequent demand as recitalist, adjudicator, and workshop clinician. Since 1992, he has taught music at Blue Ridge Community College (an all-Steinway school) in North Carolina.
