Is it fantasy or reality? A diverse program ranging from a melodious and intimate late piano sonata by L. van Beethoven to evocative musical images in M. Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition”. The second part is solely dedicated to fantasies: freedom from the rules and romantic expression in the Fantasie by F. Chopin, followed by F. Liszt`s “Isolde Liebestod” ( Isolde`s love death), then a transcription of the climactic final scene of R. Wagner`s opera “Tristan und Isolde” and a virtuose Valse – a paraphrase of Ch. Gounod opera`s “Faust” themes.
